Hank Steinbrecher, a prominent face in the adult soccer landscape, has passed away on Tuesday, March 25th at age 77.
Bruce Bode – Executive Director, USASA:
“I’ll remember Hank for his kindness and generosity. He graciously offered his counsel to me when I joined USASA. The number of people he touched, both inside and outside the soccer community, is a legacy few can match.”
Jim Sadowski – President, USASA:
“I have read the many tributes to Hank by others, which are all spot on. He was a beloved figure for many reasons –far too many to list — including his unwavering dedication to improving the game and to those around him. I have a fond memory of one of the many inspiring speeches that Hank gave, when he reminded everyone that in the word “American” is “I can”. Although Hank is no longer with us, his legacy will live on forever. Hank will be deeply missed.”
