6th Annual Super Cup Held by WSASA
The 6th annual Super Cup took place on July 20th in Mount Vernon, WA and was brought together by the Washington State Soccer Association.
The tournament began with sixteen teams from across Washington, ranging from Evergreen Premier League, WSASA, UPSL Washington, and a few additional independent clubs.
The final took place between Olympia’s FC International and White Center’s Rat City FC, where FC International took home the trophy after defeating Rat City 5-2.
What made this year special was this marked the first tournament of its history to be broadcasted, and that broadcast included Tim Busch, US Soccer Adult Commissioner and WSASA President.
Super Cup has built its reputation as one of Washington’s premier tournaments in adult men’s soccer, and has strenghtened its reputation by including amateur teams from various leagues.
