New England Breakers Represent the US at the GIFT

The Grannies International Football Tournament, or GIFT, was held in Tzaneen, South Africa, and our very own New England Breakers (known at Veterans Cup as the Baystate Breakers) competed on behalf of the United States.

Seven countries (Togo, United States, Kenya, France, South Africa, Mozambique, and Zambia) were represented at this second edition of the Grannies International tournament which had its inaugural year in 2023.

After a hard-fought and soccer-filled four days, the United States came out victorious and claimed the Cup.

Each team had their own journey to get to this one-of-a-kind event, and there’s no denying how much love each team has for the beautiful game.
